Akpini 2nd J Street Carnival is a celebration held every 2nd January by the citizens of Kpando to commemorate the beginning of each year.
This festivity dated 4 years back since 2019. It all begun as New Year activism by Kpando Dzoanti Youth Activists. Since then, the event has become a perpetual festivity embraced by entire Kpando community.
On this faithful day, partakers come from even far and nearby cities to honour and merry the event.
On the more serious note, the 4th edition of 2nd J street carnival is here to be celebrated. It's engineered and hosted by Kpando Dzoanti indigenes in Kpando Dzoanti.
Oftentimes than not, the event is highly incorporated with fun games, borborbor drums, and jams with multi spinning. Streets are congested and night densely deployed till the next daylight.
