The Kpando Municipal Assembly has handed over a newly completed Nurses’ Quarters at Kpando-Togorme, as part of ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and support essential public services within the municipality.

The handover formed part of a series of development activities undertaken by the Kpando Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, bringing together municipal authorities, community members and other stakeholders.

The project is intended to provide residential accommodation for nurses serving the community, contributing to efforts to support healthcare service delivery at the local level.

The facility, as presented by the Kpando Municipal Assembly, includes a residential building and supporting infrastructure, including a water storage installation.

The MCE for Kpando, Hon. Killian Donkor, and the MP for Kpando, Hon. Sebastian Deh, were among the key officials associated with the municipality’s development activities during the day.

At Gabi R/C Primary School, a 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities was commissioned, while at Kpando Abanu, a rehabilitated 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities was handed over and commissioned.

The Assembly also supported selected Kindergarten sections with hexagonal tables and chairs, with the furniture presented to schools at Abanu, Dzigbe and Adofo.

The series of projects and interventions formed part of the municipality’s broader development activities, with education, public infrastructure and support for essential services featuring prominently.

The handover of the Nurses’ Quarters at Kpando-Togorme therefore adds another component to the infrastructure development programme being undertaken within the Kpando Municipality.
