Magaret Marquart Catholic Hospital, Kpando received renovations and certain medical supplies from Brada Yawda and the Blemakadi Music group.

Brada Yawda is the name of the musical duo that is putting the Volta region on the map as far as musical prowess is concerned.

Brada and Yawda are young artistes from Kpando, Volta Region in Ghana known for its vibrant music scene. Despite facing numerous challenges and setbacks, Brada Yawda were determined to make a name for themselves as musicians.

As children, Brada and Yawda were fascinated by the music of their hometown. They would often sneak out of the house at night to attend local concerts and absorb as much of the music as they could. As they grew older, they began to experiment with their own musical style, blending traditional Ghanaian sounds with modern electronic beats.

Despite facing criticism and skepticism from many angles, Brada and Yawda refused to give up on their dream of becoming successful artistes. 

Finally, after years of hard work and dedication, Brada and Yawda's persistence paid off. Their "Hold me," became an instant hit on the local radio stations, and they began to gain a dedicated following among music fans in Kpando and beyond. Some of their new songs are Hold me, Godo Godo, Only you, Kawoe, Ring my bell, and medicine.

As Brada Yawda's fame grew, they were invited to perform at music festivals and concerts all over the country. Their unique blend of genres and electrifying stage presence quickly made them a fan favorite, and they became one of the most sought-after artistes in the region.

Despite their success, Brada and Yawda remained humble and grounded, always remembering where they came from and using their platform to inspire and uplift others. They continued to push the boundaries of their craft, releasing hit after hit and captivating audiences with their music and message.

Interestingly, Brada Yawda and the Blemakadi Music group renovated and donated some medical items to the children's ward of the Magaret Marquart Catholic Hospital, Kpando on Friday 30th December, 2022. 

The Medical items donated are:

1 Mattress 

2. Drip stands 

3. Medication trolley 

4. Thermometer gun 

5. Dust bins 

6. Plastic chairs 

They are a testament to the power of hard work and determination, and a shining example of the transformative power of example.
