SEE YOURSELF AS A PRIVILEGED VESSEL

If the body of Christ will treat the work of God the same way they treat their jobs and schools trust me, the gospel would have reached a lot and the church should have been in its full effect dominating the world. I will tell you why.

At the workplace, every worker has a responsibility that instils fear in their minds due to the perception of their boss if the task given is neglected. Also, every student is afraid of failing an exam as a result of stagnation in the same class.

These few factors compel us to go the extra mile and make a lot of sacrifices. But when it comes to the things of God, excuses and negligence are the frontlines. Believers don't understand that the work of God is a privilege, hence treat it with levity.

Apostle Paul understood this and worked like a mad man. He understood clearly what saved him for he knew the state he was in. He understood he doesn't even deserve to be called an Apostle if it was based on works.

He understood the grace of God gave him the privilege to become who he was. 1 Corinthians 15:9-10 "For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. Vs.10 But by the grace of God I am what I am..."

Every believer is privileged to be called a child of God because of God's love by His grace through faith in Christ Jesus. 1John 3:1 - "See what [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God...[AMP]" An understanding of this truth will enlighten you to see the work of God as a privilege.

Men come and go, the work of God still goes on. God can choose any man for the furtherance of his work. Perceive yourself as a privileged vessel. Stop seeing your task in the kingdom as help to God. You are not doing God a favour. You have been privileged to serve, God can choose anyone to replace you.

Take the work of God as serious as your job or academics, even more, serious for it is a privilege to work for and with Papa. God bless you.

 Jesus be glorified!!!
